Went out to Eastwood MetroPark, on the Springfield Street side. Idea was just to walk around and see what was there. I started walking back in the area of the stone bridges and was nearing the third bridge when I looks at an opening in the trees near the water line. I could see what appeared to be a bird. I slowly walked around the trees and saw a great blue heron perched on a tree limb. It was almost as if it had been waiting for me to come out and take its picture. I moved slowly around, and took several pictures before the bird tired of posing and flew away. Sometimes good things await you when you just get out there. 😊
